Celebrate GirlsCode Day by joining us for the CyberSpace Hackathon!
GirlsCode Day is a day we created to encourage young girls to get involved in computer science, by celebrating women in the tech industry, and exposing young girls to the various skills and opportunities to showcase the benefits of choosing a career in the field of technology.

To commemorate GirlsCode Day, each year we hold a Hackathon in which the participants are separated into teams guided by technical assistants, where they work intensively to build an app that solves a community problem.
This year, our theme is Cyber Space and we'll be challenging our students to create an app that protects children on the web and promotes internet safety. Throughout this event, we'll be giving girls the opportunity to showcase their app development skills while creating an innovation that helps their community!

At the end of the day, each of the teams will present their apps to a panel of judges and guests for a chance to win awesome prizes like iPads, Laptops, and Drones! The winning team will be able to launch their app and bring their innovation to life!
